Q: How do I customize the settings?
A:
Download the Qingping loT app on your phone and follow the instructions to link it to the CO 2 monitor. Once added, click on settings on the top right and you can customize the settings and set thresholds from there.

Q: How long is the battery life?
A:
The battery can last for up to 30 days depending on your settings (frequency of recording, frequency of uploading, and frequency of recording CO 2 when on battery power). The default setting is around 30 days, the minimum is 3 (in temperatures below zero degrees) or 6 days (in temperatures above zero degrees).

Q. Do I need to reset the CO 2 sensor?
A:
Our air monitors are calibrated at the factory and feature auto-calibration, eliminating the need for manual recalibration. Simply ensure the device is exposed to CO₂ levels of approximately 400-500ppm (typical outdoor levels) for a few hours each month to maintain accuracy. However, if the device lacks exposure to outdoor levels, sensor drift may occur over time. In such cases, you can reset the CO₂ sensors via the settings accessible through the app.
For those seeking even greater precision, you have the option to disable auto-calibration and perform regular manual resets. However, for most users, we recommend keeping auto-calibration enabled.
It's worth noting that if your indoor environment is particularly dusty, more frequent calibration may be necessary.

Still prefer the QP Air Monitor Lite from you

Hello,

After more than a year of purchasing and comparing 5 CO2 monitors (including 1 junk monitor from ebay), I regret to report that I am disappointed in the new CO2 monitor. The screen is quite hard to see across a room in daylight, and the placement of the green/yellow/red indicators is not great. The temp/humidity readings are in really small font and not legible at distance. I also did not find my unit as accurate as I would have expected (comparing to Aranet4, CO2 Click, & QP Lite, all had for more than a year, all calibrated; Click not pictured). I think the Aranet runs perhaps 50ppm high, and the CO2 Monitor tended to be 70 to 100 below its measure for the two days I tracked it. It definitely had to be calibrated upon first use.

Yes, I love the battery life! But that's the only real plus side for me -- for less than an additional $30, I will keep and prioritize the QP Air Monitor Lite that you also offer. Its bright screen and sufficiently accurate PM sensors are real benefits (as are easy-to-see temp/humidity readings on rotation). If you could just extend the Lite's battery life, you'd have the piece de resistance in my book!!
