A: The change filter indicator is calibrated for Chinese air quality, which is much worse than air quality in the U.S. and Canada. Typically, filters for the SA600 model last 12-18 months in these regions. However, it's essential to clean the pre-filters regularly. You can use the light as a prompt to inspect your filters and clean the pre-filters accordingly. To reset the filter light, simply press it down for 4 seconds.

Q: What order do I put the filters and which way do the arrows go?
A: The arrows go in the direction of the airflow. The airflow comes in from the sides and goes out the top, so the arrows point towards the center of the unit. The filters should be placed in the following order from the inside of the unit out: HEPA filter, carbon filter, pre-filter, then outside case panel.

Q: Can the SA600 be put against the wall?
A: Yes, on the narrow side. As long as there is at least 6 inches of space surrounding the intake sides and space above the purifier for the clean air to disperse, you can place the air purifier on the floor, or on a table, or a shelf. It can even be hung on a wall from the handle on the narrow side.

Powerful Air Purifier, Low Noise

What I like about the SA600 is that it can put out so much clean air with so little noise. I usually run it on medium, and it can clean a whole large room with very little noise (and less than 10 Watts of energy use). Plus, with two HEPA filters, the filter lifespan will be very long.

For this price, I was expecting the updated 5-speed version. Very disappointing.

HEPA FILTER works and remove particles from air. Like that. Also like that it has intake on front and back sides. I run the filter on “high” 24/7 and keep it in a hallway because it is too loud to keep in a room where people are. Pre filter is flimsy. Pre filter tends to bow out and I try to gently press it “in” so it’s flat and isn’t leaking air on the sides. May have to put some take on sides to hold it flush. One side of one of the pre filters broke in two trying to remove, clean and reinstall. Can’t find a replacement for the pre filter. Trying to find some sort of glue that will “weld” the break. So far super glue and crazy glue don’t work. May try a hot glue gun with a piece of zip type for reinforcement or just use a small piece of Gorilla tape. Charcoal filter is a worthless joke. Can you make the holes any bigger and put in any less charcoal? Very disappointed with the charcoal filter, but I do like the HEPA filter.

Love our new Hepa and carbon filters. Quite quiet and easy to place & keep out of the way.

Better health with clean air-

I’ve been using the SA600 for about 2 months now and my breathing has improved greatly! I had experienced frequent coughing, watery eyes, and sneezing, which have disappeared since using it. I was also waking up with headaches, but I’m sleeping way better now since using the purifier in the bedroom. I was recently diagnosed with allergies to Down feathers, dust mites, mold, certain grasses and trees. And the allergies were affecting my throat and quality of my voice. I had to see an ENT specialist and a voice therapist. My throat and voice have improved greatly since using the SA600. With the addition of the SA600 I feel so much better!
